This record is a series of interlude sets done at the Kitty Cat Klub in Minneapolis, MN. Following closely the idea of Erik Satie's musique d’ameublement, here are three improvisational pieces serving as static sonic backdrops for the more social and mundane aspects (in between other artists sets) of this particular night. Chatter, sound checks, and bar noise all framed by and resting in the compositions--the mantel that the evening was placed on.
